So I'm back with another fun thing to do when youre bored in the summer that involves, pickles and kool-aid. How could you resist???
There are two option of going about making them. The first option we will call the "Lazy way" (my favorite) and the second option is the "Right way."
Materials Used
-Dill Pickles
-cup/bowl
- Kool Aid (sweetened or unsweetened)
- Sugar (optional)
The Lazy Way
1. Pour some koolaid into a cup or bowl
2. Mix your koolaid to desired taste if unsweetened
3. Take your pickle out of the jar and simply remove access juice by shaking it off or patting it with a paper towel.
4. Dip your pickle in your cup or bowl filled with koolaid.
5. ENJOY
The Right Way
1. Drain pickles, reserving juice.
2. In a small bowl, combine the reserved juice, sugar and Kool-Aid, stirring until sugar is dissolved. 3. Set aside.
4. Slice pickles; return to jar.
5 Pour juice mixture over pickles. Discard any remaining juice.
6. Cover and refrigerate for 1 week before serving.
**** You can use any flavor of koolaid, I prefer cherry****
