Back To College Makeup Ideas: I woke up like Dis

Hello Ladies,
I am starting a new series today called Back To College, this series is going to be an array of different posts geared toward getting you ready for those late nights early mornings....

The first post for my Back To College Kick off is "I Woke up Like Dis." The key to this look is skin skin skin. Your skin needs to be glowing! The other necessity for this look is a darkish redish lippie.
I think Christina Millian nailed this look and this would be very easy for beginners to create!

Fashion Fridays: What to Wear to An Interview (Business Professional)

Hello ladies,

For today's segment of Fashion Fridays I am going to share with you what appropriate attire for an interview is, all the way from hair, and makeup to your outfit and your shoe selection, with my do's and dont's. This is a very relevant topic for my younger viewers (as well as older ones who are unsure of what to wear) especially since its summer time and many of you are looking for a job. If you're wondering why you haven't gotten hired it could solely be based on your attire alone. Hope this helps!

Do’s
Don'ts
·        Wear Neutral Colors (Black, tan, grey)
·        Wear matching suit set (skirt or pants)
·        Wear Hair in a “neat” style
·        Dress Business Professional
·        Natural/ Neutral Makeup
·        Iron/Dry Clean your outfit
·        Kitten Heels
·        Pin Stripes Perfectly fine
·        Keep cleavage to a minimum
·        Tailored Suits
·        Keep Jewelry to a Minimum
·        Stick to Neutral Colored shoes
·        Keep skirts Knee length or as close as possible
·        Pantyhose (optional)
·        Shop at thrift stores for inexpensive pieces
·        Wear Bright Red Lipstick
·        Wear 5in Stilettos
·        Extravagant Patterns
·        Show all of your goodies
·        Wear a suit that fits too tight
·        Wear Statement Necklaces
·        Just Throw your outfit in the dryer and expect the wrinkles to subside
·        Wear Gaudy Earrings
·        Wear Heavy Patterned undershirts
·        Shoes that add a pop of color
·        Mini skirts
·        Pantyhose with holes
·        Bathe in your perfume
·        Facial piercings (nose, tongue, eyebrow etc.)

Here is a great example of a business professional outfit choice
 Other Tips:
Nails: Neutral Colors/ Classy Length
Belts: Appropriate, stick to neutral colors
Do not try to make a statement with you're attire, you're resume/interview should speak for you

KEEP IT CLASSY!

xoxo,
Jessica

New Room Decor + Vision Board

Hello chickadees,

Because (yes I started a sentence if with because), of all of the apartment mayhem, that I have been going through for quite a while now. I have decided to move into a new apartment complex. With that being said I have turned into a new direction for my room. I have decided to do an all white room with compliments of brown/tan/white furs . I am currently obsessed with fur, especially coyote fur( Faux fur) of course, and because of this I want my room to reflect it! So, I created a Vision Board of pieces I definitely want in my humble abode.

I need your help

Hello Ladies and Gents,

So i actually have a legit reason, for my absence this time...
As you know this blog is not focused on one topic, it centers around my life to a certain extent.
So for the past few weeks, i have been really stressing out, because of bug problems with my apartment. I am getting bit up, every time i go to sleep, and i don't know what by. I have a feeling i am getting bitten by bed bugs, but i pray to God that is not the case. I, however have researched and researched just in case i do, and the only options that i have are extremely expensive. I almost just want to throw all of my clothes, shoes accessories furniture, all of my sh** away but of course I am a broke college student, and that wont work. I am kind of homeless, because i refuse to stay in my apartment and continue to get bit up, so Ive been rooming with some of my friends. However i am very cautious about staying with them because I don't know what is biting me, and i definitely don't want to bring it to their humble abode. I have cried about this situation, and although that has helped me, it has not gotten rid of the problem.
Helppp... I don't know what to do!

So I'm back with another fun thing to do when youre bored in the summer that involves, pickles and kool-aid. How could you resist???

There are two option of going about making them. The first option we will call the  "Lazy way" (my favorite) and the second option is the "Right way."

Materials Used
-Dill Pickles
-cup/bowl
- Kool Aid (sweetened or unsweetened)
- Sugar (optional)

The Lazy Way
1. Pour some koolaid into a cup or bowl
2. Mix your koolaid to desired taste if unsweetened
3. Take your pickle out of the jar and simply remove access juice by shaking it off or patting it with a paper towel.
4. Dip your pickle in your cup or bowl filled with koolaid.
5. ENJOY

The Right Way
1. Drain pickles, reserving juice.
2. In a small bowl, combine the reserved juice, sugar and Kool-Aid, stirring until sugar is dissolved. 3. Set aside.
4. Slice pickles; return to jar.
5 Pour juice mixture over pickles. Discard any remaining juice.
6. Cover and refrigerate for 1 week before serving.

**** You can use any flavor of koolaid, I prefer cherry****
