Shoe Faves: November
Hey guys so I really wanted to post something because it has been a minute, and since its officially December, I decided to show you my favorite shoes that I have been wearing or staring at all month!
Nike Diamond Turfs (varsity)(Red shoes)- Hibbet Sports- I love these shoes, didn't really wear them much for the whole semester , but I definitely brought them out in November
Spiked oxfords- Random store in California - As you can see, I definitely wore these out
Black spiked loafers- Dots- These go with everything! My friend calls them my Trinidad James shoes
Nike Air Speed Turf (GS)- Footlocker- My babies! I would wear these everyday if I could, and if didn't get them in a size too small. These are limited to short school days
Open toe Ankle Strap Heels- Forever 21- I haven't actually worn these but I have been staring at them for the whole month. Does that count?
Ps. that's a penny behind the speed turfs.

Fall Faves!
Hey guys, so todays post is all about my favorites for fall! Basically everything I have been wearing non stop or just gushing over!
Sorry the picture is a little blury*
- My Floral Vintage Cross body Bag- This whole year I have really been loving vintage floral prints, and this is no exception. This bag literally matches with everything, and even if it doesn't it still does to me lol. I wear this all the time. Purchased from random garage sale
- High-waisted shorts- This is my first store bought pair of high-waisted jean shorts , and I really really like them. The fit is really good and I love the color, plus I can easily style these with anything and everything. Purchased from L'patricia
- Sexiest Fantasies: Love Struck- This stuff smells amazing and is a dupe to Victoria's Secrets love spell. I get a lot of compliments on this body spray whenever I wear it! This is a nice fruity smell and I would really recommend it. Plus you can buy it in a set for about $8. Purchased from Wal-Mart
- Black Slouchy Cardigan- My best friend had to ask me how many times am I going to wear this cardi! I wear this about twice a week and like all my other favorites it goes with everything!! This cardigan is very good quality, it has not snagged and, I have washed it multiple times and it has not faded at all! Purchased from Forever 21
- Hot pink bow sweater- I love this sweater! I bought it last year and wear it a lot. I like the fact that it has small holes in it so that its not too warm. It's light enough for the fall and you can layer it for winter. Purchased from Hollister
- Hoops- I am a hoops girl through and through. I feel like hoops make everyone look better. They are a nice change from studs and give you a sassier look. At one time I wore hoops for 2 weeks straight! Purchased from Wal-Mart
- Equate Facial Moisturizer- I have been in the market for a new moisturizer, because my clean and clear just stopped working on me. At first I was going to buy the Neutrogena version of this, but I read the ingredients on the back on both of them side to side and they were almost identical. This has been doing my skin some good, and it is definitely being moisturized! Purchased from Wal-Mart
- Conair Blow Dryer- My only hair product, but I have really enjoyed this heating tool! I used it before I straightened my hair and my best friends hair and it worked great. it wasn't really expensive and it also came with a diffuser and a concentrator attachment. Purchased from Wal-mart

Deep Conditioning & $$$
Hey guys so this week has been crazy for me! I was extremely busy working long hours and getting little sleep! I'm trying to save up for my rent that's due in January because I will not be working during that month, plus I have other things I need to do with my money! But todays post is going to be about my deep conditioning!! Ever since I got to school I noticed I have not been caring for my hair as much as I would like. So after watching some YouTube videos on deep conditioning and looking in my pocket books I decided to purchase two products to start better taking care of my hair!
Suave Coconut Conditioner: I purchased this product (even though its on the , more watery side and usually for deep conditioners you want something with a thicker consistency), because I have had experience using this product before in the past as a leave in conditioner and it left my hair feeling moisturized and soft. The price wasn't bad and it smells really good!
Extra Virgin Olive Oil(Great Value): I originally went into Wal-Mart looking for some extra virgin coconut oil , but all I saw was pure, refined coconut oil. I decided to go ahead and get this because I just needed an oil to seal in the moisture and I also like to add oil before I apply my conditioner. This I have to say definitely got the job done! I really like the way it made my hair feel in conjunction with the conditioner! The smell is okay, once I put on my conditioner, though I could barely smell the olive oil!
My Deep Conditioning Routine!
- Started off with freshly co-washed hair ( I used Suave Almond and Shea Butter Conditioner)
- Wrapped my hair in a towel and squeezed out excess water
- Parted my hair in four sections and added a generous amount of Extra Virgin Olive Oil on each section from root to tip
- After I applied the olive oil, I added in my Suave Coconut conditioner being careful NOT to apply it to my roots, and really concentrating on my ends
- Then I reapplied my oil mostly concentrating on my ends and detangled and plaited my hair
- Lastly I put on a shower cap and went to bed. The next morning I rinsed it all out and my hair was so soft and it felt very moisturized!
**I will be doing this routine every Friday from now on. I definitely like the results!!**
Conditoner $2, Oil $2, The way my hair felt after Deep conditioning, PRICELESS!

NEVER give up
I wish I would've learned this my freshmen year of college, because I know I would be playing college ball. However now into my third year of college, I actually understand the phrase and am working on it everyday. I have so many dreams and goals, that I know if I keep pushing I will make them happen! I just wanted to come on here and encourage you guys to keep pushing and working hard to follow your dreams and never give up. If you put in the work, then I believe no dream is impossible. And remember it's not too late!

In a Rush?
In a rush and its cold?
This outfit is very simple and easy to out together. Recognize the sweater? (Hint "sweater weather)
Since the sweater had some pretty neutral colors in it and the scarf did also , I decided to add some maroon skinny jeans to brighten up the look. The shoes I paired with these are some TO DIE FOR boots with cutouts. Both the jeans and the boots add a little bit more flare to the outfit! (Note the scarf doesn't really match the outfit but I really like that!)

DIY: Shredded jeans
So Today I did a super easy DIY with some slightly high waisted Levi's from the thrift store. When I tried them on in the dressing room they looked alright but when I came home I was like I have to do something with these, they were just baggy and not as high up as I would've liked. So here's a little "tutorial" of what I did. (Side note I know this is really simple, I was going to do this to my pants anyway so, I just decided to show you guys :) I will be doing more creative DIYs in the future)
1. Grab some scissors and jeans
2. Try jeans on and cut at an appropriate length for you
3. Take jeans off and cut horizontal lines across the length of your jeans. I cut about them about a half an inch apart from each other. (Stop about an inch from them bottom of your jeans
4. Throw them in the washer and dryer! (It will do everything for you)
5. And wallaaaa you have yourself some shredded jeans :)

Sweater Weather
Hello everyone, so here in Texas, I think it's safe to say its officially "sweater weather." It has become really chilly and it's time for me to bring out my 4 sweaters that I have in my closet.
I decided to show you guys some cool sweaters that I found, remember your sweaters don't always have to be boring and/or neutral colors. Have fun and show your personality!
