College: What you should be doing NOW to prepare you for college

Hello pretties, so I know when it was my senior year, I had no clue how to prepare myself for college and what to do. I know that looking back I wish someone would have told me what I should be doing, so that's what I am here to do for you all. Here is just a checklist of things you need to be doing now in order to prepare for your freshmen  year of college and make it a good one :)

FAFSA: Make sure you are filling out your Fafsa aka financial aid, and sending it to all of the potential schools you would like to attend

SCHOLARSHIPS: There are plenty of scholarships out there, you just have to find the time to fill out the application for them/ write the essays. scholarships are extremely beneficial and can help you pay your tuition/books instead of having to take out loans.

DORM/APARTMENT DECOR: Whether you will be living in a dorm or in an apartment, I would advise you to gather all of your items now such as your bedding and bath stuff.

ACT/SAT: You should've already taken either of these tests at least once, but if you haven't don't worry there is still time! Sign up and start studying!

ORIENTATION: If you have already been accepted into the college of your choice, go ahead and sign up for orientation, most schools require that you go to orientation, and spots usually fill up fast.

NO SENIORITIS: This is a tough one! Basically all I want you to know is that your almost done, keep turning in your assignments on time, studying for tests, and no procrastinating. Finish the last stretch!

Update on Life: The struggle, busy bee, indecisiveness

Hello my pretties, sorry for the absence, I've been really busy with school (blah excuse blah blah). Below is an update on what's going on in my life right now :)

LAWD, I feel like I've been talking about this for years ( I have), but hopefully by the summer time I will have a good quality camera and an editing system. #justwaitonit

Mo Money Mo Problems:

I need to get back into budgeting, because here lately I been spending money left and right! I will do a post on budgeting a little later on this week and how I will get back on track.

Cooking:

Three things you need to know- I can't cook, All my money goes to food, I Eat out eryyyyday. Cooking and money go hand in hand, I figure if I start cooking, and watching YouTube videos in order to learn how, the less money I spend, the more money in my pocket. I am one of those type of people who need strict instructions Ex: I would freak out if the instructions said a dash of salt, like how much is a dash, my fingers are small what if its not enough, or what if I grab too much? I need measurements!!!! If you guys have an easy/beginner cooking recipes let me know!

School:

 Pray for me, I have class, (Serial homicide and mass murder) and it is kicking my but! My other classes I am doing well in so far, but this one, i'm going to be happy with a C. I want to make a post about how I study, what do you guys think?

Room Décor: Remember my post a few posts back about the direction i'm going for in my room, well life happens and now I have no clue on what I want to do with it. I need to buy another comforter set and from there I will decide, I feel like your bedding set is the focal point of your room.

Outfit Posts:

When I wear cute outfits I will try to get a pic of them, and post them, I know I've been saying that for years, but I'm working on it! (SN: I normally wear leggings and a t shirt, that's why I never post pictures of what i'm wearing, because its usually boring)

Weekly update:

So I have a plan, I was thinking I could try out weekly updates on here and record myself (on my phone) and post that as well, kind of like a vlog, but just a small snippet. What do you guys think? I know you would want more content other than weekly updates, but this is just another element I could add.

Last update! so I was thinking about making posts every week twice a week (not including weekly vlogs), I don't know which days I will be posting on, but as soon as I figure it out, I will let you all know!

Best of Beauty 2k14: Hair, Skin, Fragrance

Hello my pretties, so todays post is going to be the blog version of "best of beauty," I've seen this done numerous times on YouTube and I wanted to do this also, my list isn't too extensive but I hope you guys enjoy!!

Victoria's Secret fragrance/lotion in Pure Seduction: This scent is everything and more, this is a great scent if you are tired of love spell and want something a little different!

TN Dickinson's Witch Hazel: My fave toner of the year, I switched to this in the beginning of the year and I love it, does everything a toner is supposed to do, plus its cheaper!

Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser Mask: I use this as a mask although you can use it as a face wash, this stuff works wonders! It has my face feeling like a babies bottom! I apply it after I wash my face and leave it on while I take my shower, its a slight tingling feeling and afterwards I wash it out in the sink. ( Evening face Routine coming soon)

Body Fantasies Fragrance in Pink Vanilla Kiss Fantasy: This stuff smells so sweet and is great if you don't want a really expensive body spray. This can be found at Walmart for about 5 dollars!

Herbal Essences LTR Split End Defense Cream: I love this product for my ends it has them feeling moisturized and in combination with an oil it has been working wonders for my ends!

One 'n Only Argan Oil Restorative Mask: Who created this line of products, they need an award, this product is an amazing deep conditioner, its soo thick and moisturizing! I'm not even going to lie sometimes I use it as a leave in because it has great hold when dries!

Spray Bottle: Definitely a necessity for any curly girl, side note I used to carry this around in my backpack freshmen year of college...

Beauty Blender: My only makeup product, this has been everything and more it makes blending out products so easy and gives an even appearance. I love this and I wish to never part from it from this day forward. (what movie is that from)

One 'N only Argan Oil, Oil treatment: This is the only oil that does my hair justice, and I will keep buying it over and over again, words cannot explain how I feel about this product...
